Sovereign hosting in the EU

Requill is built and operated as a European service. Our entire infrastructure - and every company that plays a role in hosting this application - is based in the European Union. Your data is handled with the highest diligence, and nothing is transmitted outside of EU borders.

Your data never leaves the EU

Every byte you send to Requill is stored and processed exclusively on servers located inside the European Union. There are no transfers to third countries, no fallback regions outside Europe, and no hidden replication to data centres abroad. What happens in the EU stays in the EU.

An entirely EU-based supply chain

Sovereignty is only real if it holds all the way down the stack. That is why our servers, our database and storage, our network and CDN, our backups, and the providers we rely on to run the service are all EU-based and operate under European jurisdiction. We deliberately avoid infrastructure that is subject to foreign access laws, so your text is never exposed to extraterritorial data requests.

AI processing stays in-house and in Europe

Requill rewrites your text using a language model on our own infrastructure. Your content is never handed to a third-party AI provider outside the EU - the rewriting happens on European servers we control.

Privacy by design, GDPR at the core

We follow the principle of data minimisation: we only keep what is needed to provide the service, and Pro users can rewrite in anonymous mode so their text is processed but never stored. Everything we do is designed around the GDPR and the European approach to fundamental rights - privacy is a default, not an afterthought.

Why EU sovereignty matters

For a growing number of people and organisations, it is no longer enough to be told that data is "secure". Where your data lives, which laws govern it, and who could compel access to it are just as important. Choosing a fully EU-hosted service means your writing stays under European rules, protected by European fundamental rights, and out of reach of foreign surveillance regimes. With Requill, sovereignty and privacy are not marketing claims - they are how the service is built.
